Local Account Executive La Opinión seeks a hands-on, sales-minded individual to represent La Opinión in the Los Angeles area. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to exceeding goals and growing our local retail advertising business. The qualified individual will provide efficient, professional service to advertisers and their agencies and develop new business via consistent prospecting and networking in the territory. Requirements: Degree or combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 3 years of sales in a territory environment. Must have a strong understanding of the impact of the Hispanic market in Southern California.
New Business Initiatives Manager Senior Business Development role in marketing/sales that researches, plans, directs and coordinates launch of new digital products and services. Manages project plan to ensure on time delivery within budget. Manages revenue growth of targeted products/services. Lead and manage the ongoing adoption, development, and revenue growth of targeted products, services and programs. Develop strategic analysis and business plan models and presentation content for CEO, Board and Shareholders. Develop and manage work plan and a launch schedule for each phase of the project. Review project proposals. Manage and coordinate activities of project. Work with necessary departments to create and own the overall strategy for special programs. Provide reports and updates on performance. Provide content to drive the creation of program sales. Work with other departments to assist them with any requests for product knowledge as an internal resource. Drive special program training opportunities for the network. Develop and expand targeted programs, products and services. Sources and manages vendors. Identify revenue driving opportunities. Research products competitive and provide detailed analysis. Research customer’s buying trends. Oversees product training. Work with involved parties to track program adoption, revenue growth and quality implementation. Requirements: Knowledge of the Hispanic Market in the US. Superior writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish. Full Time. Bachelor’s (or foreign equiv) related field & 2 years experience in marketing/sales.
