La Opinión is the most widely read Spanish language newspaper
in the nation. That by itself is not what makes La Opinión unique,
rather it is also due to its journalism, its approach to reporting the news
and its perspective.
Very few newspapers find themselves in a situation such as ours, straddling
the middle of two worlds. We gather our facts in English, report them in Spanish
and write stories for readers who, for the most part, were born in different
